Corbières is an Aude appellation between the river Aude to the north, the Mediterranean to the east and the high ground near Limoux to the west.

Diverse soils and terrain

The appellation's terroirs include schist, limestone, sandstone molasse and Quaternary terraces. Vineyards extend from sea level to 400 metres altitude.
