Moulin-à-Vent — terroir, soils & grape varieties

Moulin-à-Vent is a Beaujolais red-wine appellation produced in Romanèche-Thorins and Chénas.

A distinct wine designation

Moulin-à-Vent's vineyards are divided between Romanèche-Thorins in Saône-et-Loire and Chénas in Rhône. Rochegrès is one of its named sites. The appellation takes its name from the windmill overlooking the vines.
